2. Speech Preparation#
- After writing the PPT, prepare a speech script by practicing with the PPT. Don't worry about the speech script exceeding 15 minutes at the beginning.
- Find a meeting room and continuously practice the speech script while referring to the PPT, making modifications to unclear parts.
- After memorizing the speech script, time oneself to see how long the overall speech will be and how long each module will be. Avoid spending too much time on a small module (unless that module particularly showcases a certain ability).
- Anticipate questions that the judges may ask by practicing with the PPT.
3. Q&A#
- The judges listening to the defense may have no knowledge of our business, so they may ask questions comparing our system to systems on their side. Therefore, it is necessary to have some understanding of similar systems.
- Many judges may ask about the relationship between the system and horizontal systems or businesses, such as the complementary relationships between different systems. For example, why our system does not use a certain system for viral marketing. Therefore, it is necessary to have a more comprehensive understanding of the business and horizontal systems.
- Consider technical aspects as well, whether there are any common and abstract points that can be grouped together.
4. Conclusion#
In daily work, it is actually possible to prepare for promotion in advance, such as:
- Have a comprehensive understanding of one's own business: What role does my system play? What are the conflicts and complementary points with other horizontal systems?
- Understand business goals and why the business has chosen them as goals.
